The first climate-positive event in Poland!

Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2022 will be focused on climate neutrality. And even more! We will not only calculate the Summit’s carbon footprint at the preparatory stage (e.g., the participants’ travel, electricity and heat use, booth construction), but we will strive to reduce it as much as possible by promoting for our participants public transport, vegan diet and Warsaw tap water to drink, and by creating a multiple-use booths, avoiding single use plastic packaging and gadgets. Apart from the carbon footprint reduction, we plan to offset the entire CO2 emission by creating, together with Orange Polska, a forest in the buffer zone around the Biebrza National Park, which will be a part of the “Women in Tech Forest for Planet” project. Meet Women in Gamedev!

During the Summit, we want to invite you, together with CD PROJEKT RED, to the special zone for women in gaming and gamedev. There, a meeting if the grant recipients and mentors from the “Girls in the Game” program will take place. You can meet the creators of legendary games: “The Witcher” and “Cyberpunk 2077,” qualify for an internship at CD Projekt and... play the studio’s main products.

TOP 100 Women in Artificial Intelligence

A special event planned during the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2022 will be acknowledging the most notable (Top of the Top) female AI experts, selected by the jury chaired by Professor Aleksandra Przegalińska (MIT, Koźmińki, Harvard). We were collecting nominations for women who professionally work with AI by December 2021 – the nominations were made in six categories: Ethical AI, Fighting AI bias, AI Leadership, AI Entrepreneur, AI Research, Rising Star. We received over 250 nominations, from which 100 best candidates were selected (TOP-100 Women in AI). The goal of this list is to showcase the achievements of women in the area of AI, and – more broadly – in the tech industry and to inspire the younger generation to take interest in this area. We stand with Ukraine

Women from Ukraine were always important guests at our Summit. And so it will be this year. For this year’s Summit we offer special grants to Ukrainian citizens active in the STEM area: free tickets, travel and accommodation during the Summit!
