Maria Klawe, an IT specialist, when she took over the management of Harveys Muggs College in California, did something that everyone thought was impossible - she increased the share of female students in computer science to 50%! Francesca wrote the famous book "Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls", which gives strength and inspiration to little girls around the world, Funmilola fought for the dignity of black people in the USA by co-creating the social movement - Black Lives Matter.

We do believe that women can play a crucial role in mitigating the climate crisis. That is why we decided to continue our mission of creating the Summit as the first climate-positive event in Poland. Last year apart from the carbon footprint calculation and reduction, we offset the entire CO2 emission by funding a forest in the buffer zone around the Biebrza National Park (REPORT). This year we will plant together with our Partner - Orange - 1,800 trees, which will be a part of the “Women in Tech Forest for Planet” project. |
