This time we want to invite you to our one-of-a-kind Women in Tech Days 2021 online festival, taking place on 25 and 26 May. Its concept was created a year ago, at the very beginning of the pandemic, and it has proven sound. The festival focuses on practical career development in tech – very difficult during COVID-19. It offers a unique Career Expo with excellent high-tech companies, and specialised workshops, the Main Stage with a series of techtalks and meetings with important people from TECH&IT, and Career Mentoring 1:1 with tech companies employees.
And in the evening, you are invited to the Women in Tech NIGHT! :)

For the evening of 25 May – the first of the Women in Tech Days, we want to invite you to the Women in Tech NIGHT. It will include an unprecedented meeting with four women authors who wrote the most interesting books on technologies published in 2020 and 2021 (!). We will also discuss very important subjects concerning lives and careers of women in the TECH&IT world during the Evening Chats Tables, with the tagline Kobiety_Tech#NAPRAWDĘ. We will talk about leadership, burnout, being a mother, political activity and many other things. The tables will be moderated by some tech world legends. Add to that cocktails from “Kita Koguta” and a dance party We are spending that night together:) |
Women in Tech Days 2021 is a hub of technological knowledge. The event will include 15 fascinating Techtalks on the most current subjects. 50 Mentors from tech companies will be joining us – you will be able to book a 1:1 meeting and discuss your career plans. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a series of specialised workshops (registration is required and places are limited), including, e.g.:

Almost 2,000 registered participants, almost 15 thousand visitors to the Facebook event and almost 2,400 viewers at the “Perspektywy” YouTube channel – these are just a few numbers that can sum up the Country-wide Open Day „Specialities of the Future”, organised online on 22 April thanks to the joint effort of the “Perspektywy” Education Foundation, Conference of Rectors of Polish Technical Universities (KRPUT) and 21 best technical universities and science faculties. The tech partner of this year’s Open Day held as part of the “Girls as Engineers!” and “Girls Go Science.!” events was Huawei Polska. |

The launch of the “Women in Technical Universities 2021” report On 22 April the Perspektywy Education Foundation and the Information Processing Centre – (OPI PIB) presented the “Women in Technical Universities 2021” report. The report demonstrates that the number of women among students of new technologies and IT is growing. However, the growth is slow and there are significant differences between universities. In 2015–2020 the participation of women among students in faculties connected to new technologies increased only by one percentage point (15 percent vs 16 percent). Download the report |
