We want to invite you to the Volunteering Program for young women studying IT and similar specialities, organised as part of the IT for SHE program where you will be able to conduct TWO summer new technologies education projects for children. 17^th of June is the date of Women in Tech4Good Hackathon organised as part of the Women in Tech Days 2021! The Hackathon is intended for tech and sciences - tech and science students and graduates below 35 years old. The whole event will be held online. The main subject of this edition is #digitalecology. The task that the participants are about to carry out is under the topic of Digital Trace.

Sholarship for women Intel-Perspektywy

The Perspektywy Education Foundation and the European EIT Food RIS Agency jointly announce recruitment for the international EWA (Empowering Women in Agrifood) program. The goal of the program is to motivate businesswomen who are just starting their careers to make use of their potential, to provide them with the necessary knowledge, support and access to a network of contacts so they can successfully create and develop sustainable businesses. The project is intended for a group of 10 businesswomen who will spend five months attending workshops, events, developing their ideas with the help of an exceptional Mentor, as well as building relationships and fulfilling their dreams. We invite all university and final high school year students to apply to the 7 th edition of the prestigious scholarship program “New Technologies for Girls”! Thanks to the program the students can plan their future with a great support that the scholarship offers! The scholars of INTEL-PERSPEKTYWY are going to receive substantive and financial support as well as the possibility to cooperate with a Mentor who is an experienced employee of Intel Corporation. The scholarship amount is 12 000 PLN (gross) that is planned to cover a part of the expenses that the scholars are going to have during the studies. It is also an opportunity to take part in an internship program in Intel Technology Poland LLC in Gdańsk – the biggest Intel research& development center in Europe.

Women in Tech Days are over

The Shesnnovation Academy finale gala is over. 10 startups were created during the program. On 31 May, as part of a pitching competition, the program participants presented their business ideas to the Jury. We are happy to announce that the winners are:

2957 participants, 261 mentoring sessions, 25 tech talks, 36 workshops and plenty of networking is the summary of the “Women in Tech Days 2021” festival and the first women’s Careers in TECH&IT Fair. The event took place on 25–26 May at the Swapcard event platform and was addressed mainly to female tech students and PhD students. It was wonderful! The participants graded the event as 5.5 on the scale of 1 to 6 and commented: Perspektywy Women in Tech knows how to do an online event, that's for sure. It actually makes you feel that it's a pity that the pandemic is almost over😊”

On 25th of July we are going to present the “Women’s Leadership 2021. Generations, Ambitions, Competences” report. The goal of the survey was an attempt to analyse the phenomenon of female leadership in the millennial generation. The report was prepared on the basis of a survey with 800 respondents (including 500 leaders who identify with this term), preceded by a focus group research – both younger and older. The dominant groups among the leaders were: businesswomen and startuppers, leaders with high position in companies, scientists with managerial skills at universities and research institutes, young people with leadership skills in their university environment (active in student and PhD student councils). The Report draws their rich and nuanced portrait, and it also includes Recommendations.

The report was prepared by the Perspektywy Education Foundation along with the Citi Foundation and Kronenberg Foundation as part of the “Shesnnovation Academy” project.
